Further Arts is a charitable association based in Port Vila, Vanuatu, dedicated to advancing Vanuatu’s music, media, dance, and culture while offering alternative perspectives on development. Its primary goal is to empower ni-Vanuatu artists and musicians by developing and promoting their work and cultural activities both locally and internationally. Further Arts aims to empower ni-Vanuatu to foster long-term social and commercial enterprises within the creative arts, communications, and agriculture sectors that are culturally, socially, environmentally, and financially sustainable. With aspirations to expand its influence across the South Pacific, Further Arts is proudly led by Ni-Vanuatu and Oceanian women, highlighting a commitment to local leadership and empowerment.
One such project is the Wivim Nasen Tugeta which is supported by the Commonwealth Foundation, to increase the participation of women in Vanuatu’s National Parliament, Provincial Government Councils and Municipal Councils by 2024.
